Steve is here to show you step-by-step how to create these invitations with your heat transfer printer. He’ll also share with you some tips along the way to make sure you get outstanding results transferring to acrylic and other hard surfaced items.
For this Get Inspired project, we:
- Laser cut a 5" x 7" piece of clear ColorHues Cast Acrylic.
- Printed the design onto our JPP Hard Surface heat transfer paper with an iColor 650, iColor 560, or iColor 800W printer.
- Pressed the transfer to the acrylic using a Stahls Hotronix Fusion IQ or GeoKnight DK20S heat press.
- Weighted acrylic with heavy weight to avoid warping or bowing of the acrylic
